bronze with platinum gray patina and amethyst geode crystals, signed, numbered 25/100, with Eberhard / Snowden / Rodin foundry mark, presented atop a black marble plinth.
HOA 21.5 in.
Mary Louise Snowden is a third generation sculptor in the direct line of mentorship from Auguste Rodin. In addition to Rodin's artistic legacy, Snowden inherited the eminent artist's sculpting tools.
Acquired by the consignor in 2006 from Fine Art Enterprises, Lahaina, HI (accompanied by a copy of the receipt and the Certificate of Authenticity)
