Two volumes special limted editions number 11 of 275 (including 10 hors commerce) with Colette having an additional binding of illustrations on parchment at back of book with justification - number 1 of 4 printed (hand inscribed hors commerce), 10.25 inches x 8 inches (26 x 20 cm). Each bound with numerous engravings by Lobel-Richie. Cheri additionally bound with 35 original pencil sketches of urban nudes, bordello scenes and erotica signed by the artist along with two hand written letters by Richie on personalized letterhead. Each volume beautifully bound by H. Blanchetiere in full Moroccan leather with engraved brassplate inset on cover. The inside cover printed with an engraving on silk within an embossed faux mother of pearl beaded frame and with woven silk end papers. Both contained in original matching slipcovers.

Both volumes in good to very good condition overall. Some light signs of handling wear and scattered minor soiling, not objectionable. Original (inbound) paper cover on the second, with a slight or unknown residue. The binding with some edge-wear and minor chipping to spine corners with the first having a slight 1.5 inch separation at top hinge. Slip cases with edge-wear corner chipping.
