Antique Chinese rectangular lacquered wall plaque, decorated with large gilt Longevity Shou character shaped cartouche. The character enclosed the Nine jade LuoHan standing in arrange amidst a colorful landscape scene carved from arrays of semi precious stones inlaid including agate, lapis-lazuli, carnelian, jadeite, and turquoise. Unto the top with inlaid inscriptions in detail relief. All sets over a ebony lacquered panel, bordered with open-work carved spandrels before the thick frame in archaic motif. The composition is sophisticated and the decoration colors are simply a feast for the eye.

Excellent condition, NO missing inlays, all intact, Crackquerle on lacquers, with normal anomalies in nature, sign of stressed surface, minor scratch & dent. Surface traced wear and or declined to gilding. Normal, considering ages and wears.
