A very fine Chinese porcelain Zun vase is stoutly potted in form of Chinese traditional squared Zun vessel, of a semi rectangular pear shape, bottom-heavy body with wider prominent neck further to the rectangular opening. Two cylindrical ears flanked on the neck. The exterior decorated in colorful famille rose detail painting, depicted The Eight Immortals within a garden landscape enclosed by vermilion-red ruyi shaped double dragons cartouche. Interspersed by colorful blooms and scrolling tendrils over a pale red under glazed ground. The upper bulbous body having similar immortal design within a square shaped cartouche. Banded with numerous auspicious patterned ribbons on the rim and foot, and gilt rings around neck and shoulders. The immaculate porcelain body covered with a characteristic silky glaze, pooling on the base slightly veiling the mark. The composition is sophisticated and the decoration colors are simply a feast for the eye.
Mark on turquoise-green under glazed base, a six blue seal script -ZhuanShu- characters reign mark, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing.
