Description
A group of four Yosegaki flags. ++ Yosegaki Rising Sun flag belt. Has prayer and good luck messages as well as signatures. Accompanied with a folding fan. Flag belt: 6 1/2" x 35 1/2". Fan: 9" x 15". ++ A Yosegaki send off flag. Belonged to Hasegawa Toshiharu. Showing signatures from approx.11 people. Having telescopic pole. 9 3/4" x 12 1/2". ++ A Hokobukuro that belonged to Tanaka Torao. 12 6/8" x 8 3/4". ++ A flag that belonged to Kawakita Eiichi. Inscription on the bottom says, Empire of Japan, Ishikawa prefecture, Kaga Yamanaka Onsen (hot spring), Aikoku Kan (possibly who prepared the flag). 28" x 24 3/4".From the Japanese Militaria and Art Collection of John Woodall.
