Description

Weathervane, "Dexter". C. 1880. American Trotter. Very early form , with zinc head, full copper body. Form of mane is found on L. W. Cushing & Son "dexter", of this early period. Surface, original, as evolved, with repaired bullet holes. This is an exceptional, early weathervane, and not a 20 th century copy. Stand is included. 31" x 15 1/2" high x 4" W.
