Double deck of Congress playing cards that feature an illustration of Camp David, the presidential country retreat, on the backs. Two sets, each bridge size - 3.75 x 5''. Each deck has 52 suited cards, plus 2 Jokers.

They are standard Congress cards, except that the 4 Aces have an image of the Presidential Seal. They come in the original box „ a Congress type box, except that it too has the Presidential seal. One box has been opened and is missing a deck and the other is mint condition and sealed.

These items come directly from the Hirschy family. Lieutenant Hirschy was Supply and Logistics Officer for the Military Aides to the President and Officer-in-Charge of the Navy Mess in the White House during both the Kennedy and Johnson administrations. His duties also included taking care of the President’s needs on overseas trips, aboard the presidential yachts and at Camp David. Lt. Hirschy served in the White House from May 1, 1961 through May 31, 1965.
