Description

**First Time At Auction**

United States, Pennsylvania, ca. 19th century CE. An antique iron bank/lock box with a key that works - a promotional piece for the Clearfield Trust Company of Pennsylvania. The bank has a brass plaque on the front reads "THE CLEARFIELD TRUST CO. CLEARFIELD, PENNA. 372" and there is a slot for inserting coins on top flanked by a pair of metal loops. Size: 2.25" L x 4.5" W x 3.5" H (5.7 cm x 11.4 cm x 8.9 cm)

Provenance: ex-Historia Antiques, Santa Monica, California, USA, ex James Caswell collection
