Description

Italian, mid to late 20th century. A pair of neoclassical style chairs, each lacquered in beige with parcel gilt detailing, with a figural cabochon splat back accented with a ribboned bow, upholstered in leopard velvet. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 30.75", width 26.5", seat depth 19", seat to floor 20".

Condition

Structurally sound. Scattered chips and scratches, some losses to polychroming. Fabric is tight to frame with no rips, tears, stains or odor.
