The watch bears a presentation on the inside of the caseback as follows “Presented to F.G Bannister by his Canadian Pacific Colleagues Western Lines Winnipeg - March 1947 on the Occasion of his Appointment as Manager of Stores, Montreal”. The outside of the caseback has been engraved with the initials of the recipient. The dial features raised gold arabic numerals and gold hands. CONDITION: The case is excellent with just minor surface scratches. All covers and hinges open and close tight and proper. The movement is excellent with no signs of use. The dial exhibits just light oxidization along the outer edge. The hands are excellent. It is fitted with a glass dome crystal. Gross weight of assembled watch is 58 grams.
