A late Victorian banded agate and split pearl memorial brooch. Of oval outline, the domed banded agate with applied star set with split pearls, to the scalloped enamel border and the glazed hair panel at the reverse. Length 4.3cms. Weight 19.7gms.

The condition of this lot is fair. The enamel border has some surface scratches to the edge. There is a light area of cleaning residue to the mount. The glass to the reverse is set back into the recess behind some metal tabs and may require refitting to allow it to sit flush to the setting.
