Item Details

Description

A mid Victorian memorial brooch and late Victorian woven hair bracelet. The bracelet of twist design, to scalloped engraved terminals, with a lobster-claw clasp, the brooch of oval outline, depicting behind the glass, a tree with leaves and flowers to the plain mount. Lengths 3.4 to 21.3cms. Weight 11.5gms.

Condition

The condition of this lot is fair. The bracelet has some fraying to the hair and tarnish and marks to the metal. The brooch has a crack through the centre of the white backing panel. Condition reports are provided as a guide only and we recommend you inspect each lot in order to satisfy yourself as to their condition.
