This copy has its original dust jacket, which is good overall, but with shallow edge wear, in particular missing material at the top and bottom of the spine area. There are n no notable stains, or fade to the art and lettering. The price is not clipped. The cover, green boards, yellow spine with black lettering, is in very good condition. There is shallow wear to the ends of the spine, which is straight, and on which the lettering is unfaded. There are no stains or notable tears. The front end page has a brief inscription, signed by William Maxwell. This is dated March, 1957. The pages (309) are clean throughout the book, with no stains or scuffs, no tears or creases. The only writing is Maxwell's. There are no stamps or other attachments. The binding is tight, with no loose or missing pages.
