Vignette of an eagle holding the American flag, reverse. Serial # C50556551A/ pp C. FR # 717. Elliott/Burke/Dyer/Norris signatures. 2nd item: $2 "Battleship" bank note dated 1918 from the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, Massachusetts, depicting the portrait of Thomas Jefferson, engraved by James Smillie (New York, 1807-1885), obverse. Vignette of a battleship, circa 1914, reverse. Serial # A8383017A/ pp A. FR # 748. Elliott/Burke/Willett/Morss signatures. Provenance: the collection of the late James A.
