An early 20th century gold and gem-set necessaire. Of curved rectangular outline, the monogrammed case, with beaded border and circular sapphire cabochon clasps, opening to reveal a money clip, an ivory aide memoire, a mirror, two lidded compartments and a propelling pencil. French marks. Length 6.6cms. Weight 97.8gms.

Condition

Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.

Localised dents and abrasion to the surface.

Clasps in good working condition.

With 'L G' engraved to the front.

Sapphire blue colour, with typical inclusions.

Ivory with pencil marks to the surface.
