second quarter 19th century, the shaped hexakaidecagonal black and gold Portoro marble top over a conforming cyma-molded frieze, on a vasiform octagonal pedestal joined to a concave base on scroll feet.

In overall very good condition, with normal--but light--wear, shrinkage and indications of age and use. The marble top is in very good condition, with some tiny fleabites along its perimeter edge. There is some very minor rubbing to the edges of the base and feet where feet may have contacted them, including a few small veneer losses at edges of about 3/8" and 1/4" diameters.
