An important pre-war Parisian fashion journal aimed at the poetry and fashion connoisseur, the periodical is best known its colored fashion plates by George Barbier, Leon Bakst and others. The volumes included fashionable poetry and commentary from writers such as Anatole France and Jean Cocteau. Began in 1912 by modelling itself after the 19th century publication of the same name, the journal halted production due to the outbreak war, never to recover. rare, only 1279 copies of each were printed with the pochoirs loosely inserted.
