Sheet size: 8 3/4 x 5 1/2 in
It is one of a total of 186 plates created for the Parisien Journal des Dames et des Modes by leading artists of the day like Barbier, Leon Bakst, Pierre Legrain, Etienne Drian, Victor Lheur, Gerda Wegener, J. van Brock, Armand Vallee and others
One to five were inserted into each issue of the Journal. Each was a pochoir print, in which up to thirty coloured screens or stencils inserted vivid colour into the delicate linear design of the copper plate engravings
The Journal was issued three times a month, the first appeared in June 1912, the last in August 1914 due to the outbreak of World War I. Anne-Marie Van de Ven, Curator 2009.

In good condition, very well inked, minor stains and folds at edges
