REED OVAL KEROSENE STAND LAMP, cranberry compressed globular-form font with white spiraling threads, red/ruby cut to colorless punty stem, opaque white square foot, underside of base with a hole, as made for rod attachment, brass connector, colorless wafer construction, No. 1 fine-line collar. Fitted with a period setup comprising a No. 1 E. F. Jones lip burner, thumbwheel marked "E. F. JONES PATENT / JANUARY 11. 1859," 3" standard shade ring, and colorless Oregon shade with cut and frosted floral pattern. Non-period colorless lip chimney. Third quarter 19th century. 14 3/4" H to top of shade, 8 1/4" H to top of collar, 4" SQ foot. Shade 5 1/2" H, 3" D fitter.
Undamaged with normal roughness to edge of foot, manufacturing imperfection to base at wafer. Burner deflector with light denting.
