NIPPON PORCELAIN SWAN FOUR-HANDLED VASE, having a squared neck, ovoid form, and flared molded foot with polychrome hand-painted landscape and swans on one side. Green "M" within a wreath for Morimura Brothers mark on base. 1911-1921. 8" H.
Undamaged with scattered small losses to the moriage design, mostly at base.
Literature: Design similar to the "Great Swan Scene" as in Van Patten - ABC's of Collecting Nippon Porcelain, p. 155.
