Unidentified Louisiana influence vintage duck call. We believe the barrel and stopper are cherry. The call measures 5" OAL with straight body barrel, rounded shoulders, two lanyard rings separated by 4 narrow turned rings. The stopper is fluted at end, with two narrow turned rings. Base of stopper is turned giving it a "stop" collar. An old single plastic reed is intact and secured to tone board by wooden peg. This is a distinctive and very well made call that still has the outline of an old square sticker mounted horizontally on barrel. Would guess it is from the 1940's-50's era with great tone and easy to blow. Overall condition is VG++ to excellent- with only a hint of in-use scuff and of course some gum residue from label that is not present. $75-150. (YC)
