This lot consists of an Original Gouache on Paper signed 'Picasso'. The paper used is an antique music sheet. An image that Picasso also executed on his ceramics, this portrait of Jacqueline is developed with a minimum of brush strokes, and her face is - as in most of his images of her - inscrutable with a look that is half way between smile and frown. This unique piece is painted on a 'Musical Collection of Good Authors' sheet from Paris, done in the abstract style associated with Pablo Picasso (Spain, 1882 - 1973).
