Description
Two tan canvas ammo belts, one marked 'Froehlich Co, 1942' and more faintly 'US,' plus an empty clip and a curious hand-drawn swastika. Other is a darked OD web, marked 'Boyt 42,' and with a clearer US mark. Backpack is standard issue with double strap closure, two web shoulder straps, and includes an T-handled entrenching tool with cover, the cover bearing maker mark and date 1942, stenciled name Coff, and 1/402. Also includes an attached bayonet scabbard (no bayonet).
Also includes an M1 Helmet shell and liner with swivel bales and back seam. Liner has broken inner straps.
Belts are adjustable size, entrenching tool measures 22 x 8 inches.
