Description
A nice Cypriot spouted vessel in the form of a bull, c. 6th Century BC, stylized, with four short legs and wide head with two vertical horns, the mouth surviving as a spout, the mouth of the vessel at the opposite end with single strap handle. 4 1/4 in x 3 7/8 in (10.8 x 9.8 cm). A cute little vessel with mineral deposits throughout. Ex Rice collection, Southern California.
