c. 1945. Anonymous. Carved and painted wood-relief plaque. Minor wear on edges, otherwise great condition. 24" w x 12"h. There is a signature on the back that looks like, "Paul Gabreal." This piece is believed to have been made by a German prisoner of war held in the U.S. Only 4 signs by this maker known to exist. Provenance: The Collection of John and Teenuh Foster.
