Biedermeier cabinet, with Egyptian revival elements, 2 piece cabinet, 4 drawer base & 2 glass door cabinet top section, from the castle of Emperor Franz Joseph 1st of Austria,, veneer peeling, needs restoration, cabinet is 81" tall, 48.5" wide & 23.25" deep. Note, this cabinet, and other items in this sale are from the Rabo family, descendants of Gyula Rabo, state forester for Emperor Franz Joseph. Gyula Rabo and his wife Margit Radich, daughter of the palace architect, these items, and the other items are part of the family's oral history.
