Engraved decorations of birds and plants. A Hebrew peripheral inscription: "For protection and Mazal Tov that the match succeed Adar 5599 (1839)".
The Cup is made of coins that were handed out by one of the Rebbes before 1839. According to our information, the cup had belonged to a family related to the Ruzhin Hassidism. Therefore, it is most likely that it was made by a Ruzhin Hassid who had been given the coins by the Rebbe Rabbi Yisrael of Ruzhin, who served as Rebbe since 1813 until his death in 1851.
