Germany, Pierrette with composition head incised "724", painted brown side-glancing eyes, attractive original finish, key-wind musical movement in torso, cloth hands, original two-tone pyjama suit with ruff and heeled shoes, ht. 22 in. (56 cm); and mandolinist with composition head and hands, painted side-glancing eyes, cylinder musical movement in body and later velvet costume, ht. 24 ½ in. (63 cm), paint rubbed.
