It was manufactured and marketed by Garrard & Co of England, as a sterling silver replica of an original James II Trefid spoon, made from an original spoon of 1686. Paper documentation accompanies the box and spoon. The condition is excellent, with no dents, warps, scratches, engravings or other problems. The spoon appears to have remained in its box since manufacture, which is 1994, according to the date letter.
