After silver plating process on 1780, Great Britain introduce Office of Control of Sheffield with several regulations to be followed. Royal Sheffield Royal Family are made following English tradition and they are made by brass with Inside a big percentage of copper, because copper and silver become strong each other and Sheffield products can be distinguished by its warm colour and by velvet feeling when touch. So Royal Sheffield Royal Family items are not made by normal silverplating , they cannot be confused with steel items and they do not give a cold atmosphere.
