12th-5th century BC. A mixed group comprising: a terracotta loom weight fragment with label identifying from Mount Ipf (Baden-Wuertemburg, Germany); a square-section bronze awl marked in ink 'S. England' to one face. 153 grams total, 58-75mm (2 1/4 - 3"). From a Leicestershire, UK, collection; the awl ex TimeLine Originals, Essex, UK; formerly the property of a Hampshire gentleman before 1990; found Southern England; the loom weight from an old German collection; found Mount Ipf, near Bopfingen, Baden-Wuerttttemberg, South Germany. Accompanied by an old TimeLine Originals certificate of authenticity and print out about Mount Ipf. [2, No Reserve]
