A Beatles White stereo, album printed in the United Kingdom and numbered on the front cover “0000006.” The album cover is top loading and has been marked on the cover with a slash mark through the grey circle and an “A.” The album is additionally stamped “Stereo” on the back of the gatefold album cover.

The first 20 copies of the UK stereo numbered White albums were printed twice – two copies of 0000001, two copies of 0000002, etc. The first four went to The Beatles themselves, and the remaining copies went to close friends, family members, and other VIPs. Apple Records Chief Executive Ron Kas was given this copy at the time of its release.

When you look closely at the stamped numbers on this album, there is the appearance of an echo of the numbers, or that it was stamped twice. This is the result of the laminate over the paper cover shrinking. The UK printings of the 1968 White album were heavily laminated, unlike the US printings. The paper cover does not have any shrinking properties but the laminate does, and it has pulled away, taking the ink with it. This helps confirm the age of the almost 50-year-old album.
