Description
A burnt orange and ivory dress worn by Judy Garland as Manuela Alva in The Pirate (MGM, 1948). The dress has a boned bodice with a sweetheart neckline, with a nylon peasant style attached modesty panel, puffed sleeves with a layer of lace and decorative gold tone rosette buttons and a full layered skirt with a puckered waist, an exposed front jacquard panel embellished with crochet flowers and foliage, trimmings in lace and pleated burgundy velvet. Bias labels inscribed "Judy Garland #3" and "1400-Judy Garland" are present. Together with a burgundy velvet waistband. Costume design by Tom Keogh. Accompanied by five studio images and a copy of Las Estrellas: Historia del Cine en Sus Mitos.
