Baldwin SD-10 concert grand piano, serial #212669. Satin ebony finish. Fine condition, with no damage and only minor edge and surface wear. Always kept in climate-controlled environment, professionally moved and tuned. Single owner, purchased new in 1975-76. Signed on the inside by John "Johnny" Green in 1976, who was a house guest of the original owners and played the piano for them soon after they obtained it. Green (1908-1989) was a well-known composer and pianist, winner of four Academy Awards for film scores, best known for writing the music to the song, "Body and Soul." The SD-10 has been the preferred instrument of many prominent pianists, including Liberace, Dave Brubeck, Michael Feinstein, Ray Charles, Bruce Hornsby and Leonard Bernstein. This model is still made by Baldwin and is considered by many to be one of the finest concert grand pianos in existence, second only to Steinway. The SD10's current MSRP is about $100,000.
