Description
One bottle of Whyte & Mackay Scotch salvaged from the SS Regina shipwreck on Lake Huron, Nov. 9th, 1913. This bottle sat undisturbed for over 70 years at the bottom of the lake until discovered circa 1986 - 1988. This bottle shows a perfect example of 19th century glass. The quark is fully submerged, bottle is sealed with heavy wax. Filled to capacity. Bottle measures approx. 10"H. Accompanied by COA from Wayne Brusate, owner of Commercial Diving and Marine Services in Port Huron who found the Regina. Along with correspondence from Richard C. Paterson, the Master Blender of Whyte & Mackay Ltd. Referred shippers available upon request.
