The journal was banned in the United States for alleged obscenity. Includes works of Aldous Huxley, Pittendrigh MacGillivray, P.R. Stephensen, amongst many others. The London Aphrodite is a controversial collection of stories, poems and essays by various hands eminent or rebellious.
