This is a Museum-Quality Antique Chinese Yellow Ground Famille-Rose Porcelain Bowl. This Antique Chinese Famille-Rose Porcelain Bowl is a beautiful work of art. The enamel painting on the bowl is exquisite, from the intricately detailed painted birds, to the flowers. The rich canary yellow glaze ground is a perfect backdrop for the painted artwork. This bowl dates from the Yongzheng period, (1723-1735). Famille-rose (pink family) enamels were first used on porcelain around the end of the 1720's and the best quality exports are from the Yongzheng period. This bowl is a great example of that quality. Perfect condition / museum quality. The bowl measures 6 3/8" in diameter. Marked 1723-1735 on bottom. Provenance: This bowl is from a private Chicago Collection. The bowl comes with its original box!
