Description
A yellow glazed vase decorated with a horse, tiger, and chilong, and dating from the Republic period. The neck of the vase has a Greek key and banana leaf border interspersed with a floral pattern, and the body of the vase has a ruyi border at the top and bottom. There is a 6-character mark on the bottom.
Dimensions are: 12 1/2 inches tall X 5 1/2 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: The vase has minor surface abrasions as well as a glaze skip original to the piece's creation.
Provenance: From a collector's estate in McLean, Virginia.
