Lithographic 1908 Presidential campaign poster depicting the Democratic Party's candidate and running mate in full profile bust-length poses with facsimile signatures below their respective images. Likely produced with the intended option of cutting vertically at the center to create two posters, the sheet is boldly headed twice at top edge " 'Shall The People Rule' ." Copyright 1908 Moffett Studio Chicago." Bears imprinted Union Label "Allied Printing Trades Council / Chicago, Ill 229." Accompanied by a lithographic portrait poster of Bryan in a right facing bust-length pose. Imprint at top "For President" with Bryan's full name at bottom. Bears a Union Label at lower left "S.A. No.1 / L.I.P. & B.A. / New York." With a colorful 6" x 24.5" printed hat band featuring an oval bust-length portrait of Bryan at center. Imprinted "Compliments of Hearst's Chicago American."
