Pair of very fine Chinese porcelain baluster forms vases. Potted in an ovoid lower body, tapered gracefully toward straight tall neck leading to a slightly incurved rim, raised on a foot base. Two pale-blue underglazed archaic dragon shaped handles flanked on the neck. The exterior decorated in highly complicated pictorial compositions of colorful famille rose detail painting, depicted dragon boat festival in a waterside landscape scene. Interspersed by colorful scrolling tendrils lotus and BaJiXiang the Eight Buddhist Emblems motifs over a ruby-red underglazed ground. Banded with interlocking ruyi pattern on the rim and foot, and numerous auspicious ribbons and gilt ring around neck and shoulders. The immaculate porcelain body covered with a characteristic silky glaze, pooling on the base slightly veiling the mark. The composition is sophisticated and the decoration colors are simply a feast for the eye.

Mark on turquoise-green underglazed base, a four blue seal script -ZhuanShu- characters enclosed within double square borders, QianLong Reign Period.
