Chinese porcelain potted in a celestial form, bulbous body with round shoulder gently tapered toward tall cylindrical neck, leading to flared rim; raised upon a splayed foot base. The exterior delicately decorated in rich gilt over glaze vigorous dragon striding amidst flames and fumes. The neck with BaJiXiang, the Eight Buddhist Symbols. Banded numerously around rim, neck, shoulder, and foot with auspicious patters, including, ruyi, lappets, and LiShui cresting waves. The exterior reserved in vermillion-red underglazed, while the interior in pale-turquoise-green ground.


Mark on base, a six blue script -KaiShu- characters reign mark, GuangXu Reign Period of Great Qing.
