AN AUTOMATON, POSSIBLY FRENCH, EARLY 20TH CENTURY Depicting two seated figures each with painted features, attached hair and glass eyes at a table with tea ware on a base containing a spring wound clockwork drive animating each figure in a drinking motion. The seated figures 16 inches and 18 inches (40.5 and 46 cm). Total height 25.5 inches (63.5 cm), length 21 inches (53.3 cm).
