Pre-Columbian, southern Mexico and Guatemala, Maya Late Classic Period, ca. 550 to 900 CE. A grey stone spindle whorl with linear and concentric circle motifs on its surface; also ten gorgeous jadeite beads, of varying shades of green, with shades of brown and blue. All set into a modern, very unique, and elegant design made from a gold-filled chain. Length of chain: 21" L (53.3 cm); length of necklace: 14.25" (36.2 cm); size of whorl: 1.2" W (3 cm)

Jade beads are in nice condition for most part, with a few tiny losses; the spindle whorl is in beautiful condition with clear motifs and very light areas of scratching / wear. Modern stringing.
