mid-19th century, figured bird's eye maple, top with banded mahogany edge with gilt stenciled border, three convex drawers, above a gadrooned lower border, raised on a tapered faceted standard, quadraped base, paw feet on casters.

Estate of the Late Richard Rivoire of Charles County, Maryland and Raleigh, North Carolina. A noted historical architect, J. Richard Rivoire was a native of Charles County, Maryland and the first to do extensive documentation of historic structures in that county. He moved to Raleigh in 2005 and was actively engaged in the research and documenting of historic structure in this region.
