after LOUIS AUGUSTE MOREAU (French 1855-1919) A PATINATED SPELTER ELECTRIFIED NEWEL POST LAMP, FOR L & F MOREAU, PARIS, FRANCE, CIRCA 1890, the figure of a winged woman wearing a sheer clinging star studded gown in midsstride, standing on a grassy base, in her right hand she holds the end of an arching fruiting grape arbor which continues overhead and down around her torso, tje arbor fitted with five lights with glass grape form shades, labeled with title and name of artist, marks for artist, foundry, and country of origin. Height: 45" Width: 26" Depth: 11 3/4"
Condition
In overall fair condition with losses to patination, cracks body, areas of old restoration, losses to arbor leaves, two of the grape shades missing.
