Greece, Tanagra, Boeotia, ca. 4th century BCE. A gorgeous kylix (drinking cup) with finely shaped strap handles, a wide, deep bowl, and a wide, round foot. The blackware surface boasts gorgeous iridescence. Size: 7.125" W handle span x 4.625" H (18.1 cm x 11.7 cm)

Repaired from about four to six pieces. Surface wear with scuffs, a few nicks, and pigment losses as shown. A few areas of touch up to the surface. Nice root marks on underside of the base.
