Hermle Company (American, founded 1922), 20th century. A three piece Sevres style brass and porcelain clock garniture set comprising a mantle clock and two matching urns. The clock having a porcelain urn finial over gilt metal case and gilt dial with porcelain decorated Roman numerals, marked "Imperial" along with matching garniture set decorated with figural landscape scenes on porcelain. Clock with key wind time and strike movement marked "Franz Hermle", "MADE IN GERMANY", "130-070". Approximate height of clock 16.5", width 9", depth 4.62", Approximate height of garnitures13", width 5.75", depth 3.87". Provenance: From the Private Collection of Susan E. Yeomans of S. Battery, Charleston, South Carolina (a descendant of former Governor of South Carolina Ibra C. Blackwood and his wife, Margaret Hodges; former President of the United States of America, Grover Cleveland; and former Governor of South Carolina, Carroll Ashmore Campbell Jr.).
