Description

An Austrian gilded silver and plique-a-jour enamel glass holder, Georg Adam Scheid, Vienna, circa 1900. The cagework glass holder formed as rows of brightly-colored tulips and leaves in shades of red and blue, the underside engraved with a retailer's mark of Vienna jewelry and clock shop Franz Hiess & Sohne, containing original glass. Dimensions: 1 7/8 h x 1 3/8 d in. (4.8 x 3.5 cm). 1610-006

Overall very good condition consistent with age and use.
