Description
Three late 19th century seals and a chalcedony brooch. The brooch with a rectangular white chalcedony, with a floral and foliate surround, one seal an oval-shape carnelian, with intaglio engraved Masonic symbols, to an acanthus leaf pedestal. Lengths 2.5 to 3.5cms. Weight 49.7gms.
Condition
The overall condition of this lot is fair. The carnelian intaglio panel is chipped and scratched and the pedestal to the same dented and worn. general wear to the remaining items. We believe the brooch to have been adapted from a swivel fob, as it has been adapted and the widest part of the brooch has been refinished.
