Two Scottish gem-set brooches. The first a bar brooch of pierced design, to the faceted quartz terminals, the second a luckenbooth brooch with vari-colour paste to the surround and centre. Lengths 5.5 to 5.8cms. Weight 20.7gms.

The condition of this lot is good to fair. The faceted quartz pieces to the bar brooch are loose, though appear to be secure. The pin is a little off-centre to the same. The luckenbooth has general wear to the metal and gems in keeping with age.
